At West Court Retreat, we are a luxury destination with a growing reputation for doing things properly, with thoughtful service, high standards, and an atmosphere that feels both refined and genuinely welcoming.

We focus on the details that matter, creating an environment where guests can truly switch off, feel at ease, and know they're in good hands. Mornings are a big part of that. Breakfast is often the first impression of the day, and we take real pride in getting it right ensuring it is unhurried, well-prepared, and consistently delivered. Our restaurant offers a relaxed yet elegant setting, with views of our outdoor pool, adding to the calm, easy start we aim to give every guest.

In the kitchen, we work with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to create fresh, seasonal breakfasts that balance flavour, quality, and consistency. From well-executed classics to lighter, health-focused options, everything is prepared with care and attention. We also place real importance on catering for a wide range of dietary needs, including vegan and free-from, without compromise.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the rhythm of morning service, being organised, reliable, and ready to deliver from the start of the day. We are looking for:

• A talented Breakfast Chef who takes pride in delivering a smooth, well-run morning service
• Experience cooking à la carte breakfast to order, with a strong focus on quality and consistency
• Someone who believes in creating simple, elegant dishes that speak for themselves
• A genuine passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients
• Calm, organised, and reliable, comfortable with early starts and the pace of a busy kitchen
• A strong team player who communicates well and is always willing to support others
• Someone who works well under pressure while maintaining high standards
• A positive, professional attitude and a healthy approach to work-life balance

What you'll be doing:

• Taking ownership of the breakfast service, ensuring it runs smoothly, calmly, and to a consistently high standard
• Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes with care and attention to detail, delivering quality our guests can rely on
• Contributing ideas to the menu, with the opportunity to help shape new dishes and keep the offering fresh and seasonal
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and kitchen discipline at all times
• Always looking for ways to improve, refining processes, supporting the team, and raising standards where possible

You'll benefit from predictable working patterns, 6am-2pm (5 days a week. Must be available 7 days per week) 6am-2pm (5 days a week. Must be available 7 days per week)
