Job Description

Artemis Human Capital are working with a highly respected and well-established estate agency with a strong track record of success. As part of their continued expansion, they are opening a new branch in Derry/ Londonderry and are seeking an experienced and driven Branch Manager to lead the team and establish a strong presence in the local market.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a brand-new office backed by a trusted agency name. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance, building local market share, and ensuring exceptional client service. This role requires a confident leader with a strong background in estate agency and a proven ability to lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive business growth across sales and/or lettings, securing new instructions and converting leads.
  • Proactively generate new client relationships while maintaining existing ones.
  • Conduct valuations and represent the brand professionally and confidently.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a new team to achieve individual and branch targets.
  • Set clear performance goals, monitor KPIs, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
  • Foster a high-energy, customer-focused culture within the branch.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Deliver outstanding service throughout the buying, selling, or letting process.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints effectively, maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Uphold the agency's strong reputation in every client interaction.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with property legislation and company standards.
  • Work closely with head office teams including marketing, compliance, IT, and HR to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage branch reporting, financial performance, and administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience (or equivalent experience) in estate agency (sales, lettings, or both), ideally with prior management or senior negotiator experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the local property market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to hit targets and grow market share.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
