We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly experienced and motivated Bodyshop Manager to lead a busy accident repair centre in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The ideal individual will possess strong leadership skills, extensive bodyshop management experience, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Duties of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the bodyshop, ensuring productivity and quality standards are maintained
  • Lead and manage a team of approximately 12 technicians
  • Supervise the use of two ovens and ensure workflow efficiency
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure compliance with industry and safety standards
  • Liaise with insurance companies and clients to facilitate smooth repairs and timely turnaround
  • Monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and optimise profitability
  • Enforce health and safety procedures within the workshop
  • Develop strategies to improve team performance and operational efficiency
Requirements of a Bodyshop Manager:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar management role within an automotive or accident repair environment
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Experience working with premium vehicle brands such as Tesla is desirable
  • Familiarity with various bodyshop processes and quality standards
  • Knowledge of ACR or GROUP systems is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and handle a high-volume, busy workshop environment
