Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Board Room Manager at Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. As a Board Room Manager, you will be leading teams of waiters, bartenders, and supervisors to deliver first class experiences to premium guests with your knowledge of bar and restaurant organisation, menu information, and service delivery. Your personable greetings and professional attitude will ensure guest service is like no other, so are you the Box Manager ready to serve up success?

What will you do?
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of food and beverage service in a premium environment to ensure seamless experiences, managing food and beverage team members, while collaborating with culinary teams to execute timely service
  • Prepare and organise the space prior to meetings and events, ensuring everything is complete for service
  • Train, develop, and motivate team members, maintaining open communication for feedback
  • Maintain positive guest relations and high service standards, liaising confidently and appropriately with guests, addressing any concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure the operation runs in accordance with current practice, management, and measurement of all areas of responsibility including health & safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards
More about you
  • No degree required
  • Experience managing and leading hospitality teams across multiple offer types in premium restaurant or private club member environment
  • Knowledge of the food and beverage industry, preferably within a hospitality and catering environment
  • Additional experience or qualifications in wine is beneficial
  • Skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, attention to detail, organisation, planning, customer service, and strategic thinking
