BMS Commissioning Engineer - Midlands £50-60K + Car + Benefits
I'm currently working with a growing and highly respected BMS integration specialist based in the Midlands, who are looking to expand their commissioning team with an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business delivering advanced building automation and energy management solutions across commercial, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + benefits
Type: Full-time, permanent, On-Site
Sector: Building Management Systems (BMS) Smart Buildings Construction Technology
The Role:
You'll be working predominantly on live sites across the West and East Midlands, commissioning and optimising complex BMS systems. The role involves close collaboration with project engineers, software developers, and installation teams to deliver fully integrated solutions across HVAC, lighting, and energy platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning BMS systems across commercial/industrial sites
- Point-to-point testing, validation, and optimisation
- Supporting software upload and graphical interface modifications
- Generating commissioning reports and technical documentation
- Assisting and mentoring junior engineers
- Ensuring work complies with health & safety and industry standards
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in BMS commissioning
- Experience with Trend, Tridium, Delta, Sauter, ABB (Cylon), or Distech
- Strong ability to interpret control strategies and technical documentation
- Full UK Driving Licence and CSCS Skill Card (or equivalent)
