Job Description
Overview 
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor to begin the next step in their career or an experienced manager who would like to work in a smaller setting. Our Blossom restaurant uses Yorkshire Ingredient with an Asian Flair, with up to 20 covers. Our restaurant is available for Spa Days, Residents, Non Residents and Members.

- Overseeing the smooth running of the restaurant before, during and after service.
- Effectively controlling the flow of customers and orders throughout the service.
- Dealing with any escalated customer queries in an appropriate manner, ensuring a positive outcome for the guest
- Responsible for overseeing the safe use of equipment within the working environment
- Responsible for the accurate management of all transactions during service
- Managing staff schedules, stock and wastage levels
- Work with Food and Beverage Manager to ensure that the team has the correct level of training, development, and coaching needed.
- Work with Food and Beverage Manager to train and develop new staff to become effective team members as quickly as possible.
- Work with Food and Beverage Manager to drive drinks sales to ensure that the budget is made while maintaining strong customer service.
- Motivating and engaging team members to continuously improve performance.
- Maintaining consistently high standards of customer service
- Work with Food and Beverage Manager to develop drink and food offerings.
- Any other duties as directed
- Previous experience of working as a Front of House Supervisor managing a team of people
- Excellent delegating skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- The ability to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
- Previous experience of working as a Front of House Supervisor in a four star hotel and conference venue
- Up to date Allergen Certificate
- Up to date Food Safety Certificate
