Birmingham & West Midlands Local Democracy Reporter

Reach is seeking a Local Democracy Reporter for BirminghamLive, a 12-month fixed-term role based at home and in the Birmingham hub. You will cover Walsall Council and local political issues, build contacts, and break exclusives for our audience.

The role requires an NCTJ-qualified journalist with experience in local government reporting, and a willingness to travel within the West Midlands when needed.
