Kings Monkton School, Cardiff Start: September 2026

Are you ready to ignite curiosity, inspire future scientists, and make a genuine impact every single day? Kings Monkton School is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Biology Teacher to join our thriving Science Faculty.

This isn't just another teaching role-it's an opportunity to be part of a school where individual potential is championed, creativity in the classroom is encouraged, and relationships truly matter. With small class sizes (often 12-18 pupils), you'll have the time and freedom to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that bring Biology to life and support every learner to succeed.

Our Science Faculty is a high-performing, collaborative team with a track record of outstanding GCSE and A-Level results, and a passion for STEM enrichment-from Science Week to national competitions. You'll teach across KS3, GCSE (Double and Triple), and A Level, helping shape a curriculum that stretches, challenges, and excites students.

At Kings Monkton, we do things differently. As an independent, inclusive school, we welcome pupils of all backgrounds and abilities, creating a vibrant, supportive environment where both staff and students thrive. You'll benefit from:

Benefits
  • Greater autonomy in your teaching
  • A strong, supportive pastoral system
  • Excellent staff wellbeing initiatives and benefits
  • A collaborative, forward-thinking school community

We're seeking someone who is not only knowledgeable in Biology but also passionate, adaptable, and committed to helping every pupil achieve their best.

If you're looking for a role where you can truly make a difference-while developing your own career in a supportive and ambitious environment-we'd love to hear from you.
