Biology: Long-Term Substitute Teacher (Secondary)

Downingtown Area School District seeks a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for Biology in the Secondary STEM setting. The assignment runs August 12, 2026 through January 19, 2027, with a 7.5-hour day and up to 191 days per year.

Emergency and long-term coverage will support continued student learning in science. The ideal candidate will hold PA certification for 7-12 Science, a Bachelor's degree, and demonstrated effectiveness in collaborative teaching, technology use, and classroom management.
