Biologics Production Scientist

Reporting to the Associate Director, Biologics Production, the successful candidate will carry out day-to-day production of kit and flowcell components, including purification of proteins, production of DNA/RNA analytes, protein-DNA complexes, Triblock components, and other bulk components for sequencing kits. The candidate will ensure batch records are correctly followed and conduct required testing.
- Equipment management including liaising with the manufacturer
- Continuous improvement and troubleshooting
- Updating BPs and item specifications
- Raising Change Note, Deviation, CAPA and Non-conformance
- Batch records review
Relevant laboratory experience, ideally within a chemistry, biochemistry or pharmaceutical environment, or large-scale protein, DNA, or chemicals processing. Working knowledge of chemical, biochemical, or molecular biology techniques. Familiarity with GMP and GLP. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
Well organized, resilient under pressure, detail-oriented, systematic approach to work. Quality and process-driven, team-oriented, responsive to customer needs, and capable of influencing change positively and effectively. A BSc or equivalent relevant experience is required.
