Role overview
We are looking for a Bid Manager with data centre experience and a deep understanding of customer requirements to drive our growth across Europe. You'll be responsible for managing the bid process from qualification to submission, ensuring our customer proposals are compelling, accurate, and delivered on time.
This is a delivery-focused role requiring coordination across multiple stakeholders and departments. You'll bring structure and momentum to each bid, while continuously improving the quality and consistency of our submissions.
Success in this role will require strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end bid delivery to support strategic growth opportunities
- Manage the timeline and workflow of bids and proposals, ensuring all inputs are delivered on time
- Own the central bid tracker and proactively chase contributions from relevant teams
Ensure high-quality, compliant, and well-presented submissions
- Draft, format, and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with customer needs
- Maintain version control and file management throughout the bid process
Collaborate across departments to gather and align information
- Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal to align technical, commercial, and compliance inputs
- Coordinate responses to client clarification questions and due diligence requests
Drive continuous improvement of bid tools and content
- Build and maintain a content library of standard templates, credentials, and boilerplate responses
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, or document quality over time
Contribute to a strong team culture of learning and collaboration
- Participate in lessons learned reviews after major bids
- Share best practice approaches and templates with the wider Sales Operations team
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Significant experience coordinating B2B bids, proposals, or RFP responses in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Data Centre Experience and an understanding of core data centre technical parameters (PUE, redundancy tiers, etc.)
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to structure, formatting, and brand consistency
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritise effectively, and follow through with minimal oversight
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to engage and influence cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel); experience with CRM systems preferred
- Comfortable operating in a growing, evolving business with changing needs and priorities
- Strong e xperience in the data centre, infrastructure, telecoms, or technology sectors
- Strong experience with bid management platforms, content libraries, or document automation tools
