Location: Belfast (Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days from home)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
We are seeking a talented and motivated Bid Manager to join a growing team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of the bid process and play a key role in winning new business.
The Bid Manager will be responsible for preparing high-quality, client-ready submissions, developing winning strategies in collaboration with senior management, and ensuring that all proposals are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
This hybrid role offers an excellent balance of office collaboration and home-based flexibility.
- Manage and develop high-quality proposals and presentations.
- Draft, review, and tailor bid content to deliver winning solutions.
- Liaise with senior management, commercial teams, and subject matter experts to develop strategies for successful submissions.
- Ensure all documentation is client-ready and delivered on time.
- Maintain and update the bid library, case studies, and supporting material.
- Attend client meetings and presentations as required.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement lessons learned.
- Ensure compliance with internal business systems, policies, and best practices.
Essential:
- Strong understanding of tender and bid development processes (ideally within FM, construction, or a related sector).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Skilled in preparing professional presentations and client-facing documents.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently, managing deadlines and priorities effectively.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a dedicated bid management role.
- Knowledge of Adobe, MS Project, or Visio.
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
