Bid & Tender Manager - Hybrid (UK)

An Exciting Opportunity to Build and Lead the Bid Function
Are you an ambitious and experienced Bid & Tender Manager with a background in healthcare procurement? Do you have experience in radiology or related digital healthcare fields, or at minimum, strong knowledge of NHS healthcare systems and processes? If so, this is your chance to make a real impact.

What You'll Do

  • Build & Lead: Design, establish, and own the bid function within the business, ensuring it operates as a centre of excellence.
  • Bid Management: Lead and oversee the end-to-end bid and tender process across the UK & Ireland, delivering high-quality, timely, and compliant submissions.
  • Proposal Development: Develop persuasive, tailored proposals that communicate the organisation's value to NHS and healthcare clients.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with clinical, legal, operations, and sales teams to produce accurate and compelling submissions.
  • Market Insight: Monitor NHS frameworks, procurement activity, and competitor trends to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure all submissions meet NHS procurement standards, client specifications, and internal governance requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Create and maintain bid libraries, templates, and tools to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Post-Submission: Lead feedback and debrief sessions, embedding learning's to enhance future success rates.

What They're Looking For

  • Essential: Demonstrable experience in bid and tender management within healthcare, with a solid understanding of NHS procurement.
  • Preferred: Experience in radiology or related digital healthcare fields.
  • Proven ability to set up and lead bid functions, with ownership of processes and outcomes.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, balancing multiple priorities with ease.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a track record of developing innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in bid management tools, with an awareness of how AI can enhance workflows.
