We are seeking applications to display sculpture on the theme of Connectivity for Beyond Horizons 2026.

Beyond Horizons refers both to Stoberry Park Garden's stunning views over Somerset and to exhibition founders Tim and Frances Meeres-Young's ambitions for building an annual exhibition of high-profile sculptural work, offering a much-needed platform for celebrating sculpture in the South-West.

Proposals

Please think widely - we are looking for creative ways to engage with our local surroundings. You may propose something as an individual, collaboration or group.

Locations

If possible, please find time to visit our gardens before submitting your application, as site-responsive work is particularly encouraged. We will lead walkthroughs with artists on 2 and 13 March, or by appointment. Please book a place by emailing .

  • 2 & 13 March: garden walkthroughs 10:30-12:00
  • 24 April: applicants contacted with open call results
  • 4-13 August: set-up in bookable slots
  • Fri 4 September: Private View reception
  • 5-9 October: take-down in bookable slots
Practical Information
  • There is no entry fee for artist submissions.
  • Sales %. Stoberry will not add VAT.
  • Stoberry will cover Public Liability insurance and have CCTV at entrance.
  • Stoberry will produce catalogue / guide / map for visitors.
  • Sculptors are responsible for delivery, installation and own insurance for the value of their sculptures.
  • 25% of the £8 visitor entrance fee will go to charity.
