Benefit Assessment Officer needed in Northampton Paying £20.63 per hr ref RQ

Full time hours on a temporarybasis

• Assess, verify and process Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims accurately and within set timescales
• Calculate overpayments and adjust entitlement where required
• Handle changes of circumstances, reconsiderations and appeals
• Liaise with customers, landlords, internal departments and external agencies
• Provide clear, professional advice on benefit entitlement
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with audit and data protection requirements
