Behaviour Mentor - Barnet - September 2026

A high performing secondary school in Barnet is seeking a diligent graduate to join as a Behaviour Mentor. Based in Hendon, this ambitious 11-18 academy has 752 pupils on roll, including 192 in sixth form, strong examination outcomes and a 2025 Attainment 8 score of 56.5.

  • Behaviour Mentor role paying £100-110 per day PAYE, full-time and term-time only.
  • Excellent training for graduates aspiring to teach or work with SEN.
  • Hands on pastoral, behaviour and emotional support experience.
  • Support pupils in a busy school with ambitious leaders, effective safeguarding and staff promoting high expectations.
  • Work closely with students who need help regulating behaviour, managing emotions and engaging positively in lessons.
  • School has a dedicated Student Support Unit and identifies SEND needs accurately, with targeted support to help pupils access the curriculum.
