Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Location: Bury - M45

Pay Rate: £13.69 to £15.83 per hour

Position: Full-time, Long-term

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join a reputable alternative provision in Bury. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities for the behaviour mentor:
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Implement tailored behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting findings to senior leadership.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Relevant qualifications in education or related fields are desirable.
