Job Description
Overview

Join our team and make a lasting impact on young people's lives as a Beaver, Cub, Scout, Venture Scout, or Rover Scout Leader. You will shape unforgettable experiences for young adventurers.

Responsibilities
  • Organise and lead weekly meetings for your assigned section.
  • Plan and participate in activities such as outings, hikes, camps, and other adventures.
  • Inspire and support youth as they learn, grow, and explore.
Who You'll Work with
  • Beaver Leaders: Guide 6-8 year olds in their first Scouting adventures.
  • Cub Scout Leaders: Support 8-11 year olds in building confidence and learning new skills.
  • Scout Leaders: Mentor 11-15 year olds through exciting challenges and activities.
  • Venture Scout Leaders: Guide 15-18 year olds in developing leadership and pursuing passions.
  • Rover Scout Leaders: Empower 18-26 year olds to lead and impact their communities.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Adaptability & flexibility.
  • Organisational and planning skills.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Creativity and initiative.
  • Patience and empathy.
  • Basic outdoor skills (camping, hiking, orienteering) a bonus.
Time and Commitment

Minimum 6 months commitment, 2 hours weekly, evenings Monday Friday.
