Beauty Therapy Lecturer

Salary: £35 per hour
We are seeking a Hair and Beauty Lecturer to join our Further Education (FE) college in North London. This role involves delivering comprehensive training across Levels 1 to 3 in Hair and Beauty. The ideal candidate will have FE teaching experience and a strong background in colouring and beauty therapy, specifically with VTCT qualifications.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective training sessions across Levels 1-3 in Hair and Beauty.
Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to ensure learning outcomes are met.
Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards and techniques.
Maintain student records and track progress through our learning management system.
Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
Participate in department meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching strategies and course offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Recognised teaching qualification in the relevant field.
Assessor qualification.
Extensive experience in hair colouring and beauty therapy.
VTCT qualification in Beauty Therapy.
Proven experience teaching in a Further Education setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
