About the role:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role in driving new business growth by identifying qualified opportunities and feeding the top of the sales funnel. This role involves proactive outreach, relationship-building, and close collaboration with sales and marketing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify and research potential leads across multiple channels (LinkedIn, cold calls, email, etc.).
- Lead Generation: Conduct outbound outreach to engage prospective clients and introduce the value proposition.
- Lead Qualification: Understand client needs and pain points to determine product fit.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with decision-makers within key target companies.
- Team Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment of outreach strategy.
- Coordinate with Account Executives to schedule meetings and transfer qualified leads.
- Market Insight: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Performance Tracking: Meet KPIs on lead generation, outreach, and qualified opportunities.
Requirements:
- MUST: Minimum 1-2 yrs previous BDR/SDR experience.
- MUST: Native English Speaker or level C+
- Background in the culinary world is a plus.
- Experience with cold calling, email marketing, or social selling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle rejection and persist through challenges.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
