Summary of the Job

We want a cheerful and skilled barman to join our lively hospitality team. The best person will make guests feel welcome, serve drinks quickly, and ensure they have a great time. This role offers a chance for people who love hospitality and customer service to refine their skills in a fast paced setting. Prior experience in a restaurant and knowledge of food safety rules are helpful. Housing is provided, and at least one year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Make and serve a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer requests.
• Greet customers cordially, take orders accurately, and provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and tidy bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Verify IDs and enforce licensing rules to confirm customers are of legal drinking age.
• Use the point of sale system to record cash transactions accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and restock bar supplies as needed to avoid running out.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and food safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a dynamic, structured, and productive workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant work, ideally as a barman or in a comparable role.
• Knowledge of alcohol serving laws and food safety norms.
• Strong serving skills and excellent customer service ability.
• Basic math skills to ensure accurate cash transactions.
• Strong time management skills to work efficiently during busy periods.
• Ability to remain friendly and work well under pressure.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for keeping the bar clean and stocked.
