Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Professional Café Barista to join our front-of-house team: to prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment; and to be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve quality coffee and other beverages in a fast-paced café setting. !
Monitor and replenish coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
Adjust and calibrate equipment as needed.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, including the cleaning of equipment and utensils.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting, taking orders, processing payments and serving beverages and food.
Upsell and promote additional products, such as pastries.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
Maintain a clean and organised dining area.
Experience/Qualifications
Previous work experience as a Barista and hands on with brewing equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Schedule
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
