Barista

We're looking for a coffee-making, latte art loving, vibe-lifting Barista to turn every coffee into a little moment at The Hoxton, Edinburgh.

Reporting to the Bar Manager, you'll be responsible for providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guests needs are anticipated.

We've opened our doors in Edinburgh's charming West End - our very first Hox in Scotland. Set across 11 beautiful Georgian townhouses, we're home to 214 bedrooms, a lively open lobby and bar, an all-day Italian trattoria Patatino, a retro-inspired cinema, a flexible and super-size event space called The Get Together, and The Apartment - our unique signature spot for meetings, private dinners and memorable gatherings.

Patatino is our all-day Italian trattoria serving fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and all the spritzes and Italian wines you could wish for. Inspired by the glam and romance of the sun-soaked Amalfi coast, it's a spot for long, joyful meals with friends, where old-school charm meets modern design, with bold colours, cosy corners, and plenty of personality.

What you'll do

• Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down, grab a coffee and enjoy the moment.
• Know your coffee, products and systems inside out, from beans and brewing methods to service standards.
• Craft the perfect cup for every guest, from beautifully made coffees and creative seasonal specials to those little touches that make the experience memorable.
• Work with the rest of the team in keeping things running smoothly.
• Be more than a Barista - willing to lend a hand and help the F&B team as a whole.
