About the Role

As a Bar Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the bar within The Carriage House, ensuring our Guests receive the warm, engaging and exceptional service synonymous with Adare Manor.

Working closely with the management team, you will lead by example on the floor, supervise and support the bar team throughout service, and help create memorable experiences for every Guest. You will have a strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers and cocktails, while ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation and attention to detail are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring consistently high standards of service.
• Lead by example, delivering warm, attentive and professional service to our Guests.
• Supervise and support the bar team during service, ensuring an efficient and seamless Guest experience.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the beverage offering, including wines, spirits, beers and cocktails.
• Support the training, coaching and development of team members.
• Ensure all Food & Beverage procedures, service standards and health and safety requirements are consistently maintained.
• Monitor the presentation, cleanliness and organisation of the bar throughout service.
• Work closely with the wider Carriage House team to deliver a seamless dining and beverage experience.

About You

• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior bar role, ideally within a luxury hotel, high-end restaurant or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers and cocktails, with a genuine passion for Food & Beverage.
• A natural ability to lead by example and support a team in a busy service environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional approach.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional standards.
• Confident working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and positive approach.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable Guest experiences.
