We are currently looking to recruit a welcoming, reliable, and customer-focussed Bar Steward to join our team and help create a warm, enjoyable atmosphere for our guests in our supportive team environment.
Bar Steward Job Specification -Key responsibilities include the following:
Maintain stock levels in the bar ensuring proper rotation of stock.
Provide a high-quality service to customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and addressing customer needs promptly. Engage with customers and take orders.
Financial and Operational Duties
Manage cash handling procedures, and reconcile cash taken and report and discrepancies. Opening up the venue and locking up after closing time.
Health and Safety Compliance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar area. Report and maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Required Skills
Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, as required by the business.
