Bar Manager - Royal Dublin Society (RDS), Dublin Full-Time / Permanent

Bar Manager - The role Operations Management- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety across all bar areas.
- Ensure adherence to licensing laws, health & safety standards, and hygiene regulations.
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during event days.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching when needed.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and promote memorable guest experiences.
- Manage beverage stock, including ordering, receiving, and rotation.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile variances.
- Implement cost control strategies to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Track bar sales, labour costs, and profitability.
- Develop promotions, special events, and cocktail menus to boost revenue.
- Prepare budgets and analyse financial reports.
- Oversee preparation and presentation of cocktails and beverages.
- Create or update bar menus in collaboration with leadership or executive chefs.
- Stay informed about drink trends and introduce innovative offerings.
- Ensure all staff adhere to alcohol service laws and age verification protocols.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
- Oversee training for responsible alcohol service.
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Deep knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities.
