Responsibilities
Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the bar area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food pairings and enhance the overall dining experience.
Monitor customer feedback and make adjustments to improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
Manage financial aspects of the bar, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and professional development among staff.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting.
Strong bartending skills with a comprehensive knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and wine pairings.
Background in culinary arts or food production is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality management.
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to achieve their best performance.
