We are seeking a candidate who will work with the committed team in a proactive and enthusiastic manner, who is self-motivated, flexible, able to work on their own initiative, leading the team and deliver the agreed goals.
Role- Working with Food & Beverage Team to ensure food service is at the highest levels, is as efficient as possible and delivered to the guest's needs.
- To ensure all guests receive a positive and memorable experience, tending to guests promptly and professionally.
- To ensure the smooth, efficient running of the Events, Banqueting and Private Dining spaces in relation to food & beverage service.
- To ensure that a high quality of service is maintained at all times and that service runs efficiently on a consistent basis.
- To train and develop employees, ensuring compliance to agreed standards.
- Effectively manage the roster for the team based on activities and business levels, operating with budget as set out by senior management.
- Promote a sense of team spirit and a positive working atmosphere within the Banqueting department and with all other departments.
- Optimise sales and to actively engage with guests.
- Lead and assist the teams in all daily activities in a hands on capacity and being present for all key functions, conferences, meetings, weddings, and events.
- Act as duty manager where required.
- 3 years previous experience in a similar role.
- Outstanding ability delivering professional guest service.
- Well groomed and take pride in their appearance.
- Be confident and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and team members.
- Will have Exceptional Guest Care with the ambition to drive standards and performance in a busy environment.
- Must have the ability to lead, multi task and make sound decisions in a fast paced environment.
- A passion for food presentation and service, and superb attention to detail while adhering to revenue and cost budgets.
- Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
