Healthcare Assistant - Theatre

Location: Bristol Hospital, Clifton - Bank, Part Time, includes weekend work. Pay up to £14.50 per hour depending on experience.

Overview

The Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital is a 30 bed acute care facility with three digital theatres. As a Healthcare Assistant in theatre you will be part of a fast paced team supporting patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Create a great experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.
• Care for patients as people and understand their individual needs.
• Support the theatre team by moving patients, preparing theatres, reassuring families and handling administration tasks.
• Work flexibly to support the team on the bank.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
• Relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
• Empathy, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to duties and hours.
