Role

As part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you will support colleagues in delivering the Scottish Curriculum through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones. You will also work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in learning activities that promote development toward key milestones.
• Support the delivery of the Scottish Curriculum.
• Assist with room tidying and preparation.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children - Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
