Job Description

Spire Gatwick Park has some exciting opportunities for Surgical/Ortho Ward Nurses to join our experienced and dynamic team, working flexible shifts on the staffing bank.

Main duties of the job

Duties and responsibilities:

  • You will support in assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
  • Develop your own knowledge and skills, as well as those of others.
  • Promote best practice in health, safety, and security.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services.

Job responsibilities

Support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.

Who we're looking for
  • You will be a Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
  • Be accustomed to working in teams with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in Surgical or Orthopaedics.
  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • UK-based and experienced.
Contract details

Bank 0 hours contract, flexible shifts. Shifts will include long days (7am - 7:30pm) and nights (7:00pm - 7:30am).
