An excitingopportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic HCPC registeredpodiatrist to join our dynamic and supportive podiatry team at Your HealthcareCIC as a bank member of staff.

This band 6 post isideal for a podiatrist to further develop their clinical skills and contributeto high quality podiatry service but may not want to work full time. YourHealthcare has a protected CPD budget which all employees can apply for.
If successful, you will provide treatment and managementto patients with complex medical and / or foot health needs. This will rangeacross biomechanics and orthotic prescription, nail surgery under localanaesthesia, diabetic wound care assessment and treatment and high-risk footcare. Full mentorship is available through the rotation of specialisms and as adepartment we conduct quarterly one to ones.
Our bank position provides the opportunity to work in afast paced and varied working environment but with an excellent level ofsupport across the whole team. The successful candidate has the opportunity towork across all podiatry specialisms. A full induction will be provided priorto the role commencing.

Main duties of the jobMain Duties of therole:
To provide high quality evidence basedpodiatric care to patients with a variety of foot health needs.
Manage a complex caseloadindependently, including high risk foot care, wound management, biomechanicalassessments and nail surgery.
Work collaboratively within the teamand with other healthcare professionals.
Support service development andclinical audit.
Participate in supervision, trainingand mentoring of band 5 staff and students.
What we are lookingfor:
BSc (Hons) in Podiatry(or equivalent)
Local Anaesthesiacertificate
Current HCPCregistration
Experience workingwith high risk patients, including those with diabetes
Experience of NHSpodiatry and domiciliary care
Excellentcommunication and organisational skill
Commitment tocontinuous professional development
You will need to be acar driver and have access to a vehicle

Person Specification Experience- Previous experience of NHS podiatry, including domiciliary care provision.
- Diabetic patient assessment.
- Provision of high risk/ulcer treatments.
