We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Mammographerto join our Imagingteam based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a bankbasis, and in return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate plusbenefits.

Your responsibilities will include:
To provide a high standard of radiography service within the Mammography department, performing advanced examinations without supervision and sharing skills and knowledge with the rest of the Radiology team.

About you
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent with Post Diplomate Mammography Core Training Qualification, be HCPC registered with significant clinical experience within Mammography/Breast Screening.

Person Specification Education/ Qualifications- Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent
- Post Diplomate Mammography Core Training Qualification
- HCPC registered
- Significant clinical experience within Mammography/Breast Screening
- Up to date knowledge of current professional issues
- Evidence of commitment to Continued Professional Development
- Evidence of participation in relevant service improvement
- Able to exhibit the particular expertise required by the service
- Maintain high technical standards
- Ability to work as part of a team and ability to use own initiative
- Good communications skills to meet the needs of the post in full
- Effective planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload
- Ability to supervise and take responsibility for more junior staff.
