Job Vacancy: Kitchen / Dining Room Assistant

Location: Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home in Canvey Island, Essex

Contracted hours: Bank Various hours

Hourly rate: £13.00

As a Kitchen / Dining Room Assistant, you will provide outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to residents of Silverpoint Court Residential Care Home.

Responsibilities

• Preparing all foodstuff, as directed by the Head Chef.


• Assisting and executing various kitchen duties such as ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to.


• Assisting in preparation and serving of all meals, in a timely manner.


• Liaising with care staff and residents in a polite and person centred way.


• Being responsible for understanding health and safety requirements.
