Bank Catering Assistant

Main duties of the job

As our Bank Catering Assistant, you'll:

• Help prepare and serve meals to patients, visitors, and staff while ensuring all dietary needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment in line with food hygiene regulations.
• Support the smooth running of meal services from plating food to restocking supplies and washing up.
• Serve meals and refreshments with a friendly, caring attitude, making patients feel valued and comfortable.
• Accurately record patient meal choices and intake, escalating any concerns to clinical teams.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent service and uphold high standards.

Person Specification Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience (experience in catering or healthcare is a bonus, but not essential),
• Understands or is willing to learn about food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
• Communicates well, follows instructions, and works effectively in a team.
• Brings a positive, adaptable, and caring attitude to their work.
• Is flexible and happy to work a variety of shifts as part of our Bank team
