BANK - Registered Midwife (Band 6)

We are extremely eager to recruit experienced and highlymotivated Midwives who are looking for flexible work with our Staff Bank!

Imperial College NHS Trust provides maternity services at St Mary's Hospital and Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital and assists with almost 9,000 births per year. Both sites also cater to private patients and have high dependency and neonatal units to support high risk births.

Successful candidates will support the team to provide patient centred care, maintain high care delivery standards, and ensure efficient, safe management of patients within Imperial Teaching Hospitals.

Main duties of the job

• Maintain a professional manner at all times, developing the role of the midwife in the best interests of the profession and the client in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and Trust Policies.
• Provide and perform accurate assessments and procedures during antenatal appointments, labour care and in the postnatal period.
• Be dedicated to delivering a first class service and be flexible to work across specialities within midwifery.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered (Midwifery)

Experience

• A minimum of 1 year working as a Band 6 Midwife within the NHS
