Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' occupational therapy needs.

  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans aimed at maximising patients' independence and quality of life.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions and activities to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies for ongoing support.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with NHS standards.

  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing professional development activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Completion of NHS mandatory training.

  • Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
