What you will do:
- Undertake specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop evidence-based treatment programmes for children and young people with complex needs
- Deliver interventions across community clinics, schools, nurseries, and home environments, promoting functional development and independence
- Provide specialist advice regarding mobility, posture management, orthotics, equipment, and physical handling programmes
- Work collaboratively with paediatricians, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, education professionals, and families to deliver integrated care plans
- Contribute to safeguarding processes, Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessments, and multidisciplinary reviews where required
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
- Evidence of postgraduate training relevant to paediatric physiotherapy practice
- Evidence of continuing professional development in community paediatrics
Registration & Compliance:
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) desirable
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, clinical governance, and paediatric rehabilitation frameworks
- Understanding of SEND legislation and Education, Health and Care Plan EHCP processes
