Job Title: General Radiographer
Location: Wrexham, Clwyd
Banding: Band 5
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 1 month
Rate: £25 per hour
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Our client is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Band 5 General Radiographer to join their imaging department in Wrexham. This short-term opportunity is ideal for a radiographer who is confident in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services and is committed to patient-centred care. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team, contributing to the efficient delivery of radiographic services for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of routine diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high standards of image quality and patient safety.
- Operate imaging equipment and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and radiation safety regulations.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional approach to patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registered Radiographer
- Experience at Band 5 level or equivalent
- Proficient in general radiographic techniques and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current radiographic practices and safety standards
- Experience in NHS or similar healthcare settings preferred
