Job Description
Job Summary 
Provide administrative support to the Children's Mental Health Inpatient Team (18.75 hours per week). The role involves managing administrative tasks, supporting the team at the Beacon Unit, and ensuring smooth communication and documentation workflows for patients, families, and clinicians.
Responsibilities- Manage and support the administrative team based at the Beacon Unit.
- Order stock and supplies via the online ordering platform.
- Minute clinical meetings on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and send correspondence, liaise with clinical staff, and coordinate with external agencies.
- Photocopy, scan, and manage documents (paper and electronic).
- Handle email and task management to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to support high quality care and smooth service transitions for patients and their families.
- Prioritise work effectively while maintaining strong organisational and communication skills.
- Utilise Microsoft Office and other IT systems proficiently.
- Relevant experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and emotional resilience.
- Valid UK work status and willingness to undergo DBS and other relevant checks.
- Flexible and part time hours (18.75 hours per week).
