To provide an effective and efficient business focused administration and support service within the Speech and Language Therapy Team; working collaboratively with managers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of all office based systems and to resolve or refer problems as necessary.
Main duties of the jobTake responsibility for a range of administrative duties which will include interrogation of databases, RiO (Patient Management System) and the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). Booking appointments. Liaising with Locality leads.
Support with the delivery of projects within the Team for example data collection.

Person Specification Qualifications/Training- NVQ Level 4 in Administration or equivalent
- Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent grade C or equivalent
- European Computer Driving License (ECDL) and/or advanced keyboard skills o
- Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Knowledge and experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, databases & other systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with a range of people
- Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity and effectiveness
- Time management skills and to prioritise effectively to meet timescales
- Ability to problem solve and prioritise and meet deadlines and manage a challenging workload
- Understanding of Equality & Diversity
- Ability to work independently but also in a team
- Flexible team player, able to work on own initiative, with the ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and to contribute towards improving services
- Capable of working under pressure and delivering to tight timescales whilst maintaining the quality of work
- Ability to project a professional and courteous image at all times
- Able to communicate processes and procedures to new staff
