Bakery Lecturer (Full-Time or Part-Time Available)

Permanent Northamptonshire. Salary: Up to £34,000.

An ambitious and well-regarded land-based college in Northamptonshire is looking for a passionate Bakery Lecturer to join their growing curriculum team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bakery professional or food industry specialist who is looking to move into education and inspire the next generation of learners.

The Role

You will deliver engaging bakery and food production lessons to learners across further education programmes, helping students develop practical skills and industry knowledge in a supportive learning environment.

• Delivering practical and theory-based bakery sessions
• Supporting and motivating learners to achieve their goals
• Preparing learning materials and practical demonstrations
• Assessing learner progress and providing feedback
• Working collaboratively with the wider curriculum team
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety within practical environments

What We're Looking For

• Industry experience within bakery, food production, or food technology
• A degree or relevant qualification in Food Technology, Bakery, or a related subject
• Passion for developing learners and sharing industry expertise
• Teaching qualification desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
