Job Description

Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Baker to join our team. You are a Baker and you will be making and baking a range of tasty baked products. Your skills in food preparation and culinary techniques would be a great asset to our bakery.

Responsibilities:

• Follow directions and ensure that all ingredients are measured correctly
• Operate and maintain the baking equipment including ovens, mixers and dough sheeters
• Observe baking process to make sure items are done to perfection
• Decorate and garnish baked products as required
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Work with other kitchen personnel to organise baking schedules and production needs
• Help with inventory control and supply ordering as required

Skills:

• Knowledge of restaurant or commercial kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food preparation procedures including baking, cooking
• Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
• Understanding of food production processes and quality control standards
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
• Ability to accurately follow recipes and consistently produce high quality baked goods
• Attention to detail and organisational skills
