The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Baggage Attendant that will have an instrumental influence on the arrival and departure experience. Being responsible for impeccable service to our guests ensuring a warm welcome or fond farewell, handling the guest property with care and consideration. This position will work within a team and report to the Guest Services Manager. We aim to ensure that all people feel like they belong and can have the ultimate experience, service with a personalised and attentive dedicated team to look after them.

Key Accountabilities- Handle all guest luggage, throughout the guest journey, from arrival to departure, and ensure correct storage of luggage by following the correct procedures.
- Ensure prompt delivery and pick up of luggage to the guest accommodation by adhering to the guest service principles.
- Welcome guests in the forecourt, assist guests in getting in and out of vehicles.
- Maintain close guest contact, and when receiving guest feedback, ensure to elevate feedback to the Management team for recovery to exceed guest expectations, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles.
- Experience and knowledge of hotel operations through a similar position, ideally to have a min of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role. (Front Office or Concierge)
- Hospitality-related certification or alternative.
- Passion and appreciation of quality luxury hotel service with exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organization, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
- This position requires the fulfilment of night shift duties based on the operational needs of the business. The ability and willingness to work during these hours is a necessary condition of employment.
