Backend Web Developer

As a Backend Web Developer, you'll play a key part in supporting and enhancing a wide range of websites, portals, and digital applications. You'll work with modern tools and frameworks in a collaborative environment that values quality code, continuous learning, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining websites, portals, and web-based applications
• Building new solutions using:
• Umbraco CMS
• .NET / .NET Core
• SQL Server
• Integrating with external APIs and developing scalable backend logic
• Writing and optimising SQL queries and stored procedures
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, user-friendly solutions
• Providing technical support and knowledge sharing across the team

Skills and experience:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in backend web development
• Strong skills in at least three of the following:
• .NET / .NET Core development
• Backend development using non-.NET technologies
• API integration
• SQL Server and T-SQL
• Git or other version control systems
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• A passion for continuous learning and tackling technical challenges head-on
