B2 Licensed Engineer - UK CAA OR EASA A320, Line Up Aviation

I am currently recruiting for a B2 Licensed Engineer on behalf of my client. The role will be based in Luton on a 5,5,4 shift pattern.

Role: B2 Licensed Engineer

Salary: Upon application

Location: Luton

Shift Pattern: 5,5,4 pattern, 12 hour shifts. Nights

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain acceptable airworthiness, safety, and performance standards in their delegated areas of responsibility while striving to uphold customer OTP record.
  • Uphold the terms of any authorisation gained as required by the Head of Compliance, ensuring the highest quality standards of work carried out by themselves and staff under their control.
  • Ensure the accomplishment of maintenance within responsible area using manpower and resources in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Aid in ensuring all relevant Station, EASA, and CAA regulations are met.
  • Ensure relevant procedures are followed, maintained, and reviewed to ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Assess and address all H & S issues and bring them to the attention of the Station Manager.
  • Ensure all company and legal requirements regarding aircraft/component inspection and production documentation are duly complied with.
  • Assist the Customer Airlines in maintaining on-time performance.
  • Maintain the line station in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Maintain awareness of all H & S obligations and responsibilities.
  • Keep Customer MOC informed about the serviceability and maintenance condition of the aircraft.
  • Stay updated on the latest Technical Instructions, NTE's, and Procedures from all sources.
  • At the beginning of each shift, review ongoing problems and assist the Shift Leader in maintaining an accurate shift Log throughout the duty period.
  • Carry out tasks as directed by the Shift Leader and Station Manager.
  • Ensure vehicle and ground equipment checks are completed and certified to comply with CAP 642 requirements.
Training & Knowledge Required:
  • UK CAA B1 OR B2 LICENCED ENGINEERS - A320/A321 P&W Engine
  • UK/EASA Part 66 B Licensed Aircraft Engineer with cat A on station A/C types
  • A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar
  • Recognised aircraft qualification or certificate
  • Willingness to embrace change and flexible working practices
  • Working knowledge of line maintenance activities and expectations
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Effective communication skills, self-motivation, and organizational skills within time-limited situations
  • Understanding and ability to adopt effective team leadership when required
