Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer - German Speaking (Medical Device Sector)

We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a German Speaking Azure Cloud/DevOps Engineer (Medical Device Sector). The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton with good home office allowance.

Your Role:

• Plan & implement hybrid (on-prem/cloud) scenarios & develop future-proof cloud strategies.
• Deploy, manage & optimize Azure Landing Zones (compute, storage, virtual networks, etc.).
• Ensure availability, performance & security (security best practices, monitoring, incident handling) in the cloud infrastructure.
• Automate deployments with Infrastructure as Code (eg, Terraform, Bicep) & Scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Build & maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Work closely with development teams on cloud architectures.
• Create & maintain technical documentation.
• Provide 2nd & 3rd level support for Azure-related requests, including troubleshooting & performance optimization.

Your Skills:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Managing Azure Environments & DevOps.
• A sound knowledge in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Skilled & experienced in most of the following areas: Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code (eg, Terraform, Bicep), Scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI) & CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Ideally experienced in technically leading experienced colleagues.

Your Profile:

• Completed Higher Education/University Degree in Computer Science, ideally with focus on Systems Engineering or IT Security (or similar).
• Ideally Microsoft Certified, for example as an Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Fluent in English & good German language skills (to B2 level or higher).
