Azure Cloud Architect

We're looking for an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Solution Architect to play a key role in translating transformation roadmap into scalable, innovative, and secure solutions within a complex Azure hybrid cloud environment.

As a strategic leader in the architecture space, you will collaborate with product managers, cloud engineers, domain architects, and other key stakeholders across the IT organisation. Your input will shape both the design and execution of modern cloud solutions built on Azure and Azure VMware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architectural design and guide discussions across teams
• Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable cloud solutions
• Create and maintain solution designs aligned with enterprise and domain architecture
• Advise stakeholders on technology choices and implications
• Support and mentor the Azure team to ensure high-quality delivery

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with strong Azure expertise
• Proven track record designing Azure-based architectures for enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of Azure VMware Solutions and cloud security baselines
• Microsoft Azure Architect certification
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies, SAFe, DYA, and TOGAF is preferred

Location: Apeldoorn area - 2 days onsite per week (hybrid model)

6 month contract initially, highly likely to extend
