Automation Tester (freelance)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Automation Tester to join a high-performing Agile/Scrum feature team working on the development and testing of a new CRM platform. This is a key role focused on end-to-end test design, execution, and delivery assurance within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a cross-functional Agile team to plan and execute end-to-end test activities, including scripting, test execution, and defect management.
• Collaborate with the Test Manager, Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to assess test needs and apply risk-based testing methodologies.
• Design and document test strategy, plans, cases, and scripts across various levels (product, integration, technical, deployment).
• Execute detailed functional and regression tests for web applications and APIs.
• Ensure quality deliverables that comply with enterprise standards and frameworks.
• Drive process improvements, enhance automation frameworks, and support continuous testing practices.
• Deliver clear and timely communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in QA and at least 4 years using Selenium with BDD frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Selenium, and automation testing of Web Applications and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, manual testing, and test case design for both manual and automated workflows.
• Familiarity with BDD tools such as SpecFlow or Python Behave.
• Experience with Git/TFS, SQL, and Salesforce (optional but a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
