Job Description
Automation Equipment Engineer PLC Related Projects Responsibilities 
- Lead a team to maintain and support day to day manufacturing activities through real time problem analysis and solution implementation.
- Resolve system, network, and equipment problems to improve and sustain production, minimizing downtime and boosting productivity and efficiency.
- Work closely with customers to support new tester setups, new project or line launches, update technical references, PM requirements, and conduct periodic reviews and internal trainings for the TS team to retain knowledge.
- Support existing lines, testers, equipment, and automation projects, including master list updates, PM, calibration, first level troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Review spare parts and periodically top up maintenance to keep production running smoothly and effectively.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotes, training, and support.
- Support various internal and customer audits, including 5S, process compliance, CCC, EHS, and ISO.
- Actively contribute to internal Kaizen projects, new equipment introductions, and new automation project implementations.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned in accordance with business needs.
- A degree or diploma in Automation, Computer and/or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Prior experience in PLC related automation projects highly preferred.
- Two years of relevant experience in a top level assembly manufacturing environment; EMS preferred.
- Diploma holders with more than ten years of related experience may be considered.
- Good communication skills for working with various stakeholders in the organization.
- A team player who seeks win win solutions without compromising safety, cost, or quality.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI / Python, and/or any programming language is a definite plus.
- Work Location: 452 Alexandra Road, Singapore (Near Labrador Park MRT).
- Working Days / Hours: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm / 8:30 am - 6:00 pm (Monday Friday).
